NOTICE - Due to overwhelming demand, as of  August 18, 2010, we will not be processing any further requests until early November. We thank you for your patience!

On February 11, 2010, our precious Mascot of National Dog Day, Tinkerbelle, {also the best friend of National Dog Day founder, Colleen Paige} lost her battle with brain cancer. She was only 10 years old. Because of her amazing and magical spirit, she lived six months beyond what her life expectancy was determined to be. Over the course of her little life, Tinkerbelle brought love and kisses to thousands, from the everyday dog lover, to celebrities, sick and challenged children and the elderly. Through National Dog Day events nationwide, she has helped to save over 50,000 homeless dogs.

Help Find a Cure - We are searching for five organizations to feature that assist pets with cancer and/or pet related cancer research that National Dog Day friends can help financially support.  Please contact us to submit your organization to be featured here. Deadline is November 1st, 2010.
