The mission of PETS 911 is to provide a public service that will one day create an America where all pets are valued companions that have lifelong, loving homes.

PETS 911 provides a website and a toll-free bilingual hotline (1-888-PETS911) for pet owners and pet seekers to access community-specific, pet-related information including:

Local animals available for adoption – including photos and video

            Local spay/neuter facilities

Real time lost and found national pet database

            Local licensing information

            Emergency & non-emergency veterinary offices

Tips on pet behavior, health, grooming, and more

At any given time, PETS 911 includes listings for more than 20,000 adoptable pets at nearly 8,000 animal shelters, contact information for more than 6,000 veterinarians, and postings of more than 8,000 lost or found pets.
